Recording Reading at Home

At Becontree, children in Years 3 and 4 use Story Zoo to support their reading both in school and at home.

Children have already been using Story Zoo in school, so they are familiar with how to access eBooks and complete quizzes. At home, we encourage them to use the platform to keep a record of the books they are reading.

Children can add a book while they are still reading it and mark it as finished when they reach the end. This helps them build a record of their reading journey and share the books they have enjoyed with school.
