It all started with year 6 generating questions about different images from the blitz with the aid of a question matrix. They used the matrix to help them phrase more complex and open questions about the image. They then worked on generating responses based on what the image shown but also using their knowledge of the aims of the blitz itself and how England at the time overcame it.
