Forces 

There are many different aspects of forces. We have investigated a few and managed to capture some images to share with you. 

Friction

We investigated friction by using different objects, of different weights, and moved them along a variety of surfaces. As you can see from our pictures, some objects were easier to test than others. We measured using Newton Meters. 

Water Resistance 

We now understand that there are many different aspects to how things move in the air and in water.

We had to create a new design for the front of a ship. We tested a variety of different shapes - which became very messy!

Air Resistance 

We were given the task to create our own parachute. We had to work as a team and use all the new knowledge that we have about air resistance. We needed our parachute to fall to the ground without breaking or injuring any of the humans on board! 

Some were more successful than others!
