The Travel Ambassadors introduced our annual Walk to School Week in assembly to the whole school which took place from Monday 19th to Friday 23rd May with classes competing to see who would get the highest number of walkers. The winning classes from each Key Stage would be able to enjoy an extra 15 minutes playtime. Look out for the announcement of those winning classes which will be coming soon. The Travel Ambassadors also launched The Great Space Walk and challenged children to complete 8 laps around the playground to promote active travel. It was a great success; well done to all those children who took part. Twenty randomly selected participants will get to take part in a 30-minute sports activity with Mrs Doogan and the Travel Ambassadors next half term. Please take a look at the PowerPoint video below to find out more about our Walk to School project and the walking challenge.
