Bow Arts

A selection of children in year 5 had an opportunity to experience something called Bow Arts. During this activity some children took part in making different styles of arts. There was making things out of black and white paper,tracing several types of animals and also making everyday things. They also played games like picking a card out of a bag and drawing the word as a picture for your partner to guess they enjoyed this and the selected children got to meet a famous artist.

All the children that did not take part also did something to do with art but the other children who did bow arts also did viking boats. The first thing the children did was wet their pages with a paint brush. They then painted a fading dark colours on their page as a backdrop. Finely they drew a viking long boats and made them look scary with the colour red .
They stuck the boats onto their page and their work was complete.
