June 2015 Year 4 Design Technology Making Musical Instruments
Year 4's final Design Technology unit of work came on the back of our Science work on sound - making musical instruments. Children had been given guidance on researching homemade instruments before the half term because their holiday project was precisely that. This then generated even more excitement and enthusiasm for making another instrument in class. Check out a selection of stills of some oral presentations and evaluation by these budding instrument manufacturers, as also an array of photographs of the work in progress or completed products. The children's problem solving skills were in real evidence as they applied these to their designs whilst under construction. Well done, children.
