Light, September 2019
In Science, we have been studying Light and looking at how we see things. Below is some of the work from our lessons. Scroll down to see it all.
In these photos, we were investigating the relationship between the light source and the object blocking the light to see the affect it has on its shadow. This involved choosing one variable to change: moving the light source or moving the object.
We made observations about how light is refracted when it travels through glass, water or oil.
In this lesson, we modelled how we see things using yellow wool. We worked carefully to ensure that we pulled the wool tight to show that light travels in straight lines and reflects off of objects, including mirrors into our eyes.
