Key changes have been made to the School Week for 2022/23 to ensure school is open for 32.5 hours each week.

On March 28th 2022, the Government published a paper called Education White Paper: Opportunity for All – Strong Schools with Great teachers for your child. Amongst other things, the paper outlines an expectation that the school week is at least 32.5 hours long.
Governors and school leaders have discussed this and from September 2022, our school day will change to:
Start of the School Day
8.45 a.m. for all year groups, including the ARP
School gates will open from 8.35 a.m. and doors to the building will open at 8.45 a.m.
Afternoon Nursery session starts at 12.30 p.m.
11.45 a.m. - 12.45 p.m. for ARP and Reception
12.00 p.m. - 1.00 p.m. for Year 1 to 6
End of the School Day
11.45 a.m. – Morning Nursery session ends
3.15 p.m. - Reception to Year 6 and ARP day ends
3.30 p.m. – Afternoon Nursery ends
School gates will open from 3.05 p.m. (3.10 on Friday due to Reward Play session)
