Phonics catch up
Phonics Catch Up is used to support children who have not passed the year 1 Phonics Screening in year 2, or have not developed their phonics knowledge in English yet.
It is a small group intervention primarily used in year 3, and it focuses in on sounds that the children either do not know or need more practise with applying in context.
