On Monday 18th May, Year 4 children braved the elements to go on a geographical field trip at Rainham Marshes. Throughout the day they were involved in activities related to rivers, The River Thames in particular, the landscape and, their favourite of the day, pond-dipping. Due to safeguarding children at the ponds whilst they undertook this last activity, the photographs of the actual pond-dipping are few ... so we leave more to your imagination and the conversations that children hopefully had with parents, family members and friends.
