Year 6 studied images of London and Dresden, a German city bombed by the British airforce during the same time period as the Blitz. Dresden and other German cities were bombed in response to the Blitz on London, which included attacking the Barking docks. The children had to create three sketches: the first two to hash out their ideas and the final one to refine them into one final design. If they had time, the budding architects made comments about elements they wished to keep or things that they specifically liked.
