Art -Sculptures
In Year 1, the children made animal sculptures using plasticine. They pulled, rolled, squashed, flattered, pinched and pushed the plasticine to get the shapes they wanted for their animals. Take a look at some of the pictures of them working on their sculptures.
In Class 1A, we have been learning about an artist called Andy Goldsworthy who makes sculptures using natural objects. We collected some natural objects from around the school grounds, designed and then created a sculpture to make our own art work. Come and take a look.
