We enjoyed celebrating the school Centenary by taking part in lots of different activities. We completed a fun run with special celebration flags we had made, we took part in a BOW arts project (keep an eye out for our work near Christmas in the playground.) We also created bunting to decorate the school and wrote about why we love Becontree Primary school. )

In Geography we have been learning about human and physical features. We started by exploring the KS1 playground to identify each feature then used these to draw a birds eye view plan of the playground. We then extended our learning with a WOW moment, a local walk to Goodmayes park to create tally charts of specific human and physical features. We then interpreted our tally chart results in a whole class pictogram. We have really enjoyed learning about this topic!

On Friday 14th November we celebrated Children in Need! We dressed up in our pyjamas, spotty clothes or non uniform to help support and raise money for the Children in Need charity. As part of raising awareness we completed 'Challenge 25,' which means we completed 25 star jumps! (Sorry for the blurry photos, we were being very energetic completing our challenge)
