Urgent Message from Woodford County High School (for girls ) and Ilford County High School (for boys) to Year 5 Parents
Unfortunately, we have not been able to have our usual Open Days this year where we would normally have reminded interested Year 5 parents that the deadline to register for their children to take the 11+ test for entry to either Woodford County High School (for girls) or Ilford County High School (for boys). These are state-funded selective Secondary Schools.
If parents wish their children to be able to take the 11+ test so that they can be considered for either Woodford County High School (for girls) or Ilford County High School (for boys) for September 2021 entry, they must register by 5 pm on Wednesday 24th June 2020. The relevant information is under the Newsletters page (click here).

Secondary schools have begun contacting Year 6 families in preparation for their move to their new schools in September. If you have not yet heard from your child's secondary school, you should do so over the next few weeks.
Some schools are asking us to share links to online videos and resources for you and your child to access. A folder has been created here to access those links. We will continue to add links as we receive them.
The links have also been shared with the children on Seesaw.

The Summer Reading Challenge is starting tomorrow on the 5th of June. To take part, you can sign up to the easy-to-use website and create your own profile at www.sillysquad.org.uk
You can set yourself a challenge to read any amount of books during the Challenge. You can read anything that makes you happy- whether it be comics, joke books, poetry, fiction or non-fiction; in digital or print format; from e-book lending through the public library service or from what you already have at home.
Each time you finish a book, you add it to your profile and write a review.
There are downloadable activities, games, quizzes and more. With new content to enjoy each week, the fun will continue right up to September.
You will receive a downloadable certificate once you've completed the challenge too!
