Half Term Holiday Club

Dear Parent / Guardian,
With the February half term right around the corner, I would like to take this opportunity to let you know about our upcoming Holiday Club program for young people between the ages of 8yrs – 12yrs.
We will be running a holiday club between Monday 17th February – Friday 21st February 2020.
There are three booking options per day, which are as follows:
- AM Booking – 8am-1pm at a cost of £8 per day. This includes breakfast.
- PM Booking – 1pm-6pm at a cost of £8 per day. This includes lunch.
- All day booking – 8am-6pm at a cost of £14 per day. This includes breakfast and lunch.
Throughout each day there will be various activities from art to sport, music to cooking or fitness to boxing.
You can book online at www.futureyouthzone.org/young-people/holidayclub/ or you can pop in to reception between 10am-2pm to book.

Spaces Available at Childville Breakfast and After School Club
Tue 04 Feb 2020Childville breakfast and after school club located within the school hall has spaces available for children from nursery classes to year 6.
Breakfast Club is open from 7.30 am till school start and After School club is open from the end of school session till 6 pm daily term time only.

Becontree Wins Street Tag!
Mon 27 Jan 2020The latest round of Street Tag has now finished and Becontree came first! Last week we were presented with trophies and certificates in assembly. Well done to all the families who took part. We are looking forward to the next game.

Win VIP Tickets To A Football Match
Tue 21 Jan 2020DAGGERS CELEBRATE DIVERSITY DAY celebrates its tenth anniversary this year and as such, Becontree Primary School has been invited to participate in a design competition to create a cover for the matchday programme for Dagenham and Redbridge FC and Solihull Moors FC on Saturday 22 February.
The competition winner will have his/her design featured on the front cover of the programme and along with a guest, enjoy a VIP package on the day, that includes a 3-course meal and a chance to watch the match in the Executive Suite.
The competition seeks to raise awareness, promote and celebrate diversity in Dagenham and Redbridge.
Rules and Guidelines
- All children may take part in the competition
- The theme of the competition/poster is DAGGERS CELEBRATE DIVERSITY DAY.
- Children should use A3 or A4 size drawing sheets
- Entries must be portrait
- Children can use crayons, pencil etc.
- Children may consider the following points
- Slogan/ Caption
- Effective communication of message
- Innovativeness/ creativity/ novel ideas
Entries should carry the following information:- Name of the student
- Age of student
- Year

Triple P Parent Course
Wed 15 Jan 2020Free online parenting course from toddlers to teens. If you are interested then please come and speak to Jackie Moldrich (PSA).
We recently received a testimonial from one of our parents who completed this online course. This is what she had to say:
